Hayward HLX-PCB-MAIN board repair (OmniLogic)
The HLX-PCB-MAIN is the main board of the Hayward OmniLogic. When the system shows No Cell Power, stops making chlorine, a pump or valve no longer responds, or the panel goes dark, this board is usually the cause. We repair it, in 1 to 2 business days, for a fraction of the price of a new board.

Faults we repair on the HLX-PCB-MAIN
- No Cell Power and the other salt cell messages (once the cell type in the configuration and the cell itself have been checked).
- Wrong salt reading when the store test, the cell type and the cell are fine.
- Temperature messages that don’t match the water.
- Lights off on the panel, or nothing lights up (after trying another outlet).
- Pump relay: a pump that won’t start, or never stops.
- Outputs: valves, relays, heater, lights or aux that don’t work.
- Clock that doesn’t keep the time.

The US price includes everything: the prepaid UPS label to send us the board, the repair, the return shipping, brokerage, duties and taxes. Nothing is collected on delivery. The exact price depends on the fault: we confirm it from your photos before you ship, and before any extra work.
1-year warranty on our work and the parts we replace. If we can’t repair the board, you pay nothing for the repair.
Repair or replace the HLX-PCB-MAIN?
A new HLX-PCB-MAIN sells for well over $1,000 at Hayward dealers, when it is in stock. A repair costs a fraction of that, keeps your original board with its configuration, and the repaired board lasts as long as a new one: every repair is tested on our own OmniLogic test bench and covered by a 1-year warranty.
Exchange board: when we have a refurbished HLX-PCB-MAIN in stock, we can also exchange your board for a repaired and tested one, for customers who need the system back the same day. Ask us.
How it works
- Send us photos of both sides of the board and tell us what the panel shows (repair quote, or text them to 438 448-0782). We confirm the price.
- Fill in the Send a board form. US customers get a prepaid UPS label and the customs paperwork by email; Canadian customers get the shipping address.
- Ship only the board, in a small flat box (about 12 x 9 x 3 in): remove the plastic stands and the green connectors at the top left, wrap it in bubble wrap, and write your name on the box. UPS charges by box size, so a big box costs more.
- Repair in 1 to 2 business days after we receive it, fully tested on our test bench.
- Return by UPS (USA, duties prepaid) or Canada Post (Canada), with the balance paid when the repair is ready.
Near Montréal? You can also drop the board off in Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Quebec (ready the next day), or come by appointment and wait about 60 to 90 minutes.
Questions
Is my board a HLX-PCB-MAIN?
It is the large board inside the OmniLogic enclosure, with the cell connector and the relay connections. The part number is printed on the board. Send us photos of both sides if you are not sure: on the Omni, the photos are what decides between the board and the cell.
What does the US price include?
Everything: the prepaid UPS label to send us the board, the repair, the return shipping to you, brokerage, duties and taxes. You pay US$25 for the label when you order it, and the balance when the repair is ready. Nothing is collected on delivery.
How long will my pool be without the board?
Shipping both ways plus 1 to 2 business days for the repair. From most of the USA, count about a week in total with UPS.
Do you repair the OmniPL board too?
Yes, all Omni models. Send us photos of both sides of the board with what the panel shows, and we confirm the price.
Do you repair clones or other brands?
No. We repair original Hayward boards only: the quality of the copies is too low to repair.
