2. Before you ship

Tick each box to confirm you have read it. The rest of the form opens once every box is ticked.

Original boards only. We repair only original boards (currently all made in the USA). We don't work on clones because their quality is very low. Your name on the box. Write your full name clearly on the outside of the box. Back stands. Remove all plastic stands holding the back of the board: they often get damaged in shipping. Front stands. Also remove any plastic stands on the front of the board (those holding the display). Green connectors. Remove the green connectors on the top left side of the board. The board only. Do not send the keypad unless we ask for it. Send only the board. Packing. Wrap the board in bubble wrap and use a box that isn't too big, ideally about 12 x 9 x 3 in. Tape it well. Duties and tariffs. We are not responsible for changes in duties or tariffs. The information we give you is based on the current situation, which can change. We use the best shipping method. For the USA, the price currently includes the small brokerage fees.

Customs declaration

Extremely important. A wrong customs declaration can lead to import taxes and fees when the board arrives. Filled in as below, no taxes are charged and everything goes quickly.

USPS only. Ship with USPS (US Postal Service). Don't use another carrier without asking us first: other carriers may charge brokerage fees on the declared value, even though the board isn't taxable. We have never had a problem with USPS. Reason: REPAIR. At the post office, make sure the board is marked "Defective board sent for repair". On the customs form, select "Other" and write "REPAIR". Never "Gift" or "Merchandise". Description and HS code. Description: "", nothing more. HS code: . Quantity 1, value 5.00 US$. Never more than 15 US$ in total. A defective board has no value until it is repaired. Sender section. Fill it in completely.
